POTJE 1,000

Let's play an old Dutch game we learned at school.

The ultimate goal is to score a precise 1,000.
That's why the name of the game in Dutch is Potje Duizend.

Roll the dice and assign the face-value of the throw on to one of the nine buttons in the button-matrix above.

The buttons in the left column counts the face-value ×100.
The middle column buttons counts for ×10.
And the right column buttons is simple the face-value.
The total and subtotals are calculated after each assignment.
(You may switch off these automatic computations in the Settings tab)

Do this for a total of nine throws and see the result.
Can you get to exactly 1,000?
You need a bit of luck but also some strategy to score the most points.

PLAYING THE GAME

Press the Roll button to start the game.

Stop and assign the face-value of the dice to a button.

Round nine, last throw of the dice. We need a 1!

Almost, we rolled a 2.
Not a 1,0000 but we scored a lot of points.

SETTINGS, LOCAL SCORE AND GAME CENTER LEADERBOARDS

Settings, switch the automatic (sub)totals calculations on or off.

The game is more difficult with automatic (sub)totals off.

See your scores and sort them on date of points.

Compare your total points against your friends or the whole world.

Don't forget to get the achievements!

When you scored an exact 1,000 ...
you'll get a medal and a trophy of course.

But you are not fully there then.
For a nice shiny silver medal you have to score a precise 1,000 two times.
A gold medal can be won by scoring five times a 1,000!

Thank you for your attention
and good luck playing Potje 1,000 !!!
